Description

Numbers 10 and 10A on Hay Lane are a timber-framed building dating from the 16th or 17th century, with exposed timbers on the south side and plaster infilling. The main elevation was refronted in the early 19th century using red brick and Welsh slates. The building stands two storeys high and features five sash windows set in reveals, complete with glazing bars and flat cut brick arches above them. The central pair of doorways has fielded panelled reveals, Doric pilasters, and six fielded panelled doors. Numbers 4 to 6 (consecutive), along with numbers 9, 10, and 10A, form a group.
