Description

Wych Elms is a house built in 1912 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched plain tile roof. The building has one storey and attics, with a long range and two deep panelled ridge chimney stacks. The entrance is located on the right side of the centre in a two-storey gabled bay. It has a glazed door with a simple moulded hood, and the gable is adorned with a twin casement window, flanked by hipped casement dormers. There is tile creasing present. On either side of the door, there are large four-light casements. The left end of the house features corner windows with four large lights, and the ground floor is open in the centre. The gable is tile-hung.
