Description

This large barn, located on the east side of The Barns, dates back to the 17th century and features a timber frame construction. The exterior is weatherboarded, and it has a plain tile roof. The base is made of brick, which was renewed in the late 19th century, with some flint incorporated. The barn consists of eight bays, with the northern side having an aisle and a central gabled cart entrance. Inside, it has a clasped purlin roof supported by straight wind and tie braces. The road-facing elevation includes a central door and later added windows.
