Description

Hall Barn is a house built in 1923 by architects Bennett and Bidwell, designed by Robert Bennett for his own use. It showcases the Arts and Crafts style with an irregular facade and is one and a half storeys tall. The building features a tiled roof with gables and swept eaves, constructed from red brick. A gabled entrance porch displays exposed timber-framing and pargetted panels. The windows are mullioned with stone surrounds and leaded lights. The entrance is recessed and has a boarded door. Inside, the property retains good original fireplaces, a staircase, and detailed joinery.
