Description

Glaed Hame Cottage is a building dating from around 1906, designed by Parker and Unwin. It was originally built as a gardener's cottage for Glaed Hame and is constructed in a vernacular style reminiscent of Voysey. The cottage has one and a half storeys and features two bays divided by large tapering brick stacks. It has a tiled roof with projecting eaves supported by tile quoin brackets. The walls are painted roughcast, with tiled gable bands. A brick stack with a dentil cornice is present, along with a hipped pair of casement dormers that include glazing bars. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of one and two light wooden casement windows that have tile labels and glazing bars. The entrance is recessed.
