Description
Cosykot is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick base, with a pebbledashed and weatherboarded exterior. The house has a steeply pitched thatched roof and consists of three bays, with one storey and an attic. The gable end facing the road includes a door, a pentice board above the weatherboarded attic, and a two-light casement window. The left side of the house has a small 20th-century bay window, an entrance, and a two-light dormer window with eyebrow thatching. There is an axial ridge stack located between the front and centre bays, and a half hip at the rear over a weatherboarded attic that also has a two-light casement. The right side of the house features scattered casement windows. Inside, there are chamfered bearers and cambered tie beams.
