Description
The Robin Hood and Little John Public House is a 17th-century timber-framed building, with 18th and 20th-century red brick casing and a plain tile roof. It has one storey and attics, featuring a lobby entrance plan with one bay on each side of a central stack, and smaller single bays at each end. The façade includes three glazing bar casements, with two to the left of the door that have wooden lintels, and a right-hand window that is segmental headed. There is a 20th-century gabled porch leading to an 18th-century door arch. The building also has two large roughcast gabled dormers and chamfer-stopped beams. Additionally, there are several rear extensions, including an 18th-century single-storey outbuilding with a slate roof.
