Description

Pryors is a house that dates from the 16th century at the southern end, with an extension added in the 18th century to the north. It features a timber frame with roughcast walls and a thatched roof that extends almost to the ground on the rear southern side. The southern part of the house is two stories high and consists of two bays, with a central 16th-century stack; the right bay is likely the earliest section. The northern part is a single story with two gabled attic dormers, both fitted with glazing bar casements. The rear elevation reveals some exposed framing from the 16th and 18th centuries, along with two eyebrow dormers. There is also a lean-to structure from the 18th or 19th century at the northern end.
