Description

The granary at Whitehall Farm, located 20 meters north of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features red brick infill within a timber frame, supported by long straight tension braces at the corner posts. The building has a steeply pitched hipped roof covered in red tiles. It stands on limestone truncated conical staddle stones, which have circular overhanging stone caps, arranged in a 4 by 3 formation. The granary is a single-storey square structure that faces south and has a central boarded door, which is accessed by a short ladder.
