Description
Norton Grange Farmhouse is probably a 17th-century farmhouse, altered and refenestrated in the mid-20th century. It has a T-shaped plan, comprising a three-bay, lobby-entrance section with a lower, 19th-century extension at the rear. The building is two storeys high with a gabled dormer. The west front has four windows. It has a tiled roof with a modern central ridge stack. The frame is timber-framed with stipple pargeting. The west front windows are modern casements with two and three lights and leaded lights. A former 18th-century bracketed door hood has been replaced by a modern timber porch, sheltering a modern half-glazed door. The rear extension is of painted brick with an old tiled roof.
