Description

Thatches is a cottage located on Croft Lane, likely dating from the 18th century. It has one and a half storeys and two bays, with modern alterations and additions at the rear. The cottage features four windows and a thatched roof made of Norfolk reed, which has a decorated ridge and a heightened brick ridge stack. The structure is timber-framed with a plastered front. It includes one and two light windows, some of which are original and have mullions and iron casements, along with leaded drain and glazing. The entrance has a modern panelled door with a bracketed hood.
