Description

103 Norton Road is an early 18th century dovecote that was formerly part of Norton Old Manor House. In 1925, it was converted into a house by C H Hignett, who added a two-storey extension with one window on the east side. The original dovecote features a hipped, tiled roof with gablets and is constructed of painted brick, with a plain band at the first floor level. It has segmental arched three-light casement windows with leaded lights. The extension has rendered walls, casement windows, and a modern porch on the south side.
