Description

Montserrat is an early 19th-century house with a stucco exterior and a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate, set behind a parapet and cornice. The building has two storeys and features a band at the first floor. It has three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars, along with two dummy windows. The entrance includes a six-panelled door, with two flush panels, set within a reeded surround. A cast iron porch with a slightly concave hipped roof adds to the entrance's character. Montserrat, along with Saint Elmo and Nos 5 to 8 on Hitchen Hill Path, forms a cohesive group of buildings.
