Description

Lister House Hotel is an early 19th-century building featuring a stucco exterior and a Welsh slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has an eaves cornice supported by paired brackets. The façade includes four flush-set windows with glazing bars, with sash windows on the lower floors and casement windows on the second floor. The central doorway is adorned with pilasters and an entablature, and there is a yard entry on the right side. Notably, Joseph Lister, who lived from 1786 to 1869, was educated at a school located here.
