Description

The buildings at 8, 9, and 9A Bridge Street date to the 16th century and have been restored. They are timber-framed with plaster infilling and feature a steeply pitched tiled roof with a central cross gable and two back gables. The building is two storeys and attics in height, with two lattice casement box dormers. 19th-century shop windows are set within reeded frames. Elaborately carved bargeboards are present on the two gables, one facing south and one on the west side. A carved corbel marks the southwest corner of a recessed porch.
