Description
The Master's House at the British Schools, built in 1857, is a two-storey structure designed in a classical style. It is constructed of red brick and features a Welsh slated roof with a brick modillion cornice. The building has an L-shaped plan and includes pediments on the front and side. The first floor has a band, and the sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in reveals beneath flat arches. A door on the side elevation is framed by a plain surround and is topped with a modillion brick cornice. This building is included for its group value alongside the British Schools and the School Mistress's House.
