Description

Saint Elmo is a mid-19th century villa made of red brick, featuring a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys, with a stucco band on the first floor and a wide eaves cornice. At each end of the front, there are stucco Doric pilasters. The façade includes three sash windows set under flat arches, with wooden cases for blinds. The central doorway consists of a three-panelled door, with two glazed panels and an oblong fanlight above, all framed by Doric columns and an entablature. Saint Elmo, along with Montserrat and Nos 5 to 8 Hitchin Hill Path, forms a group of buildings.
