Description
The barn at Hoo End Farm, located 50 meters south of the house, is a 17th-century structure that has been converted into a garage and workshop. It features a timber frame set on a tarred brick base and is clad in dark weatherboarding, topped with a steep old red tile roof. The barn is tall and consists of five or six bays, with its entrance facing east and a projecting porch at the third bay from the south. It has jowled posts and a side-purlin roof. An inserted floor is present in part of the barn, which is accessed by an external stair on the east side. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
