Description

This barn, now part of the engineering works, dates from the 17th or 18th century and has been altered over time. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and has a machine tile roof. The structure consists of three bays, with an aisle and a central gabled bay to the south. There are later openings added to the barn. Inside, there are braces connecting the jowled posts to the tie beam and the south wall plate, although the tie beam and the area above it are not visible.
