Description

Tilehouse Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 19th century, with a rear service wing potentially from the 18th century. The front is of painted brick, stuccoed, and has a low-pitched slate roof. It has two storeys and a three-window front. The central entrance is within an altered enclosed porch featuring a band cornice. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with tripartite windows in the outer bays and dripstones above the ground-floor openings. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the house. A service wing is situated to the rear right; it may be earlier but has been altered to match the main house, and contains flush-framed glazing bar sashes. A ground-floor lean-to extension is attached to the right side of the service wing. The interior has not been inspected.
