Description
Nos 3 and 5 Windhill is a building from the mid to late 18th century, with a mid-19th century addition. It features a plastered exterior and an old red tile roof. The structure stands three storeys high and has four windows. The original house is located on the west side and is symmetrical in design. It has a central door supported by slim octagonal columns, which is flanked by two-storey canted sash window bays that have architrave surrounds and a top cornice. Inside, there is a tunnel vaulted corridor behind the door, and the front west room contains 18th-century details. The rear ground floor showcases a timber frame that dates back to the 16th or 17th century. On the east side, there is a later extension with one window and a triple hung sash on the first floor. The entire front of the building is adorned with a modillion cornice.
