Description
The gazebo located in the grounds of Number 1 Riverside Mews in Ware Town dates back to the 18th century and was restored between 1982 and 1984. It features a timber-framed structure with painted weatherboarding above a brick base. The roof is pyramidal and covered with old tiles, including half-round hip tiles, topped with a 'leaping horse' weathervane. The gazebo is a single storey and includes a canted oriel bay window facing the river, which has three sashes with glazing bars. On the north elevation, there is a half-glazed door framed by a plain architrave.
