Description

The riverside gazebo, located in the rear garden of Number 12 West Street in Hertford, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It has an octagonal plan and is a single-storey structure with flint-faced walls and red brick quoins. The gazebo features a thatched roof, half-glazed narrow two-leaf doors, and arched windows. Inside, there is a vaulted plaster ceiling and a boarded dado around the walls.
