Description

The gazebo, dating from the 18th century, is located in the grounds of Number 59 High Street in Ware. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a pyramidal roof covered with old tiles, complete with half round ridge tile hips. The north elevation has paired sash windows with glazing bars overlooking the River Lea, as well as a half-glazed door that has two flush lower panels and a fanlight above. Adjacent to the gazebo is a timber-framed landing stage with slatted paling railings and a square capped mooring post.
