Description
Pole Hill is a 18th-century house located on the east side of High Wych Road. The small house faces south, with its gable oriented towards the road where an old road branches off to the east. It features a timber frame that is plastered and now roughcast, set on a low plinth. The front is symmetrical, consisting of three windows and two storeys. The lower rear section has two storeys under a catslide continuation of an old red tile gabled roof. There is a modillioned eaves cornice and internal gable chimneys made of red brick. The house has flushbox sash windows with 6/6 panes, each under dripboards. The central entrance features a 6-panel door with mouldings and glazed top panels, sheltered by a gabled porch. Additionally, there is a single-storey pantiled lean-to on the west side and a stair window at the rear of the west end.
