Description
The granary at Stanstead Bury Farm, located 5 metres north of the farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is a small, rectangular, single-storey building constructed with a timber frame and covered in black weatherboarding, topped with a pitched slate roof. The structure is raised on nine red brick piers and faces west. There is a central plank door accessed by steps, with gap-lathing above the door for ventilation.
