Description
No 110 on Cappell Lane is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house, dating from around 1800. The building is constructed of white brick with a stucco plinth and features a low-pitched slate roof. It has overhanging eaves with a plastered soffit. This small two-storey structure was originally two separate cottages, each with a front and a rear entrance. At the back, there are shallow service rooms with a roof that extends lower than the main structure. The building has gable chimneys located externally on the north side.
The front of the house is symmetrical but offset to the south, with two windows on each floor and a central door. The windows are flush two-light Yorkshire sliding casements with small panes and segmental arches, although the top left window has been replaced with opening casements. The central entrance features a six-panel door, with the top panel being glazed, set in a round-arched painted recess.
