Description

The stable at Box Hall, dating from the early 17th century, is located on the east side of Walkern Road in Benington. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched roof that was originally thatched but has been replaced with corrugated sheeting and part tiled. The stable consists of five bays and includes a clasped-purlin roof supported by angled queen-strut trusses. The northern part of the stable has been converted into a dairy.
