Description
This 18th-century ha-ha is located 70 metres east of Stanstead Bury. It features a red brick retaining wall on the west side of a deep ditch along the east side of the garden. The design allows it to unobtrusively protect the garden from straying cattle. The wall also turns outwards to retain the ends of the ha-ha.
