Description

This is a mid-18th century house, originally built as a single dwelling, and later divided into two separate houses. It was further extended to the south during the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with blue headers in a Flemish bond pattern and has a hipped roof covered with steep old red tiles. It is set back slightly from the road, facing east.

The main building is L-shaped and two storeys high, with a single-storey rear wing to the northwest. It was designed with a symmetrical facade of three windows, featuring a central entrance. A decorative eaves band with dentil corbels runs along the top of the building. The ground floor windows are arched, and the upper floor windows are flush-faced mullioned casements with rectangular leaded glazing and iron opening lights. The windows are three-light units, except for those above the present pair of boarded entrance doors, which are two-light. A tall chimney is centrally located on the ridge of the roof. The roof has been extended to the south over a three-light window above a double door leading into a garage, which has a room above it.

The rear wing has a west-facing gable parapet incorporating a gable chimney. The north side of the wing has two windows and a central door. The front door is a flush-bead six-panel door with the two upper panels glazed.
