Description
This is a miniature bridge located in the Japanese Garden at Garden House, built in 1906. It was crafted by K Enomoto of Yokohama for Herbert Goode, a wealthy glass and china merchant who started the Japanese Garden in 1905. The bridge is made of timber and features carved dragons on the uprights of its balustrades. It is designed as a miniature sacred bridge, known as Kumo-Ni-Jiya, following the Dragon and Cloud design.
