Description
The Old Well House, located about 20 meters southwest of Number 2, is a former well house that has been converted into a bus shelter. It has an 18th-century base and a 19th-century upper section, with the conversion taking place in 1953. The base is made of red brick, while the upper section is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a pyramidal tiled roof. The building is square in shape and features an open front with a central gap in the base that includes old timber jambs and sills, chamfered corner posts, and curved braces at the angles leading to the roof, all crowned with a moulded timber finial. A commemorative plaque on the front notes the conversion in honor of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Number 2 is not listed.
