Description

The garden walls located immediately southeast of Queen Hoo Hall date from the late 16th century or 17th century. They are constructed of red brick with an irregular bond. The walls form a rectangular enclosure measuring approximately 25 meters by 18 meters and stand between 1 meter and 2 meters high, featuring a plinth. In the center of the wall facing the house, there is an opening with ramps leading up to piers topped with ball finials. External buttresses have been added to the eastern side. These walls are included for their group value with Queen Hoo Hall.
