Description

The walls of the walled gardens, dating from the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century, were constructed for the Dukes of Bridgewater to serve as kitchen gardens for Ashridge House. Made of red brick with numerous blue bricks, the walls stand approximately 3 meters high. A gateway to the south of Frithsden End has been blocked.
