Description
Four adjoining houses, now comprising two houses and a post office with storage. The building likely originated in the 17th century or earlier, with 18th-century brick facades and rear extensions, and 19th-century alterations. The houses have a timber frame encased in red brick, with grey headers arranged in a chequered pattern, and steep roofs covered in old red tiles. Most windows are sash windows. An early pattern letter box, now disused, is set into the front wall of number 73, to the left of the door. Inside number 69, original timber framing is exposed. The building is included on the list for its group value.
