Description
Braziers is a country house dating from the 18th century, with a northern wing added in the early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a steep hipped roof made of old red tiles, along with a wooden eaves cornice. The house is tall, symmetrical, and consists of two storeys and attics, facing west and set back from the road. There are later extensions to the north that are also set back.
On the south side of the rear range, there is a two-storey semi-circular bay window. The house has a double-pile, central-entrance layout with end chimneys and a service wing at the northeast. The west front has three windows, hipped dormers, a coved cornice, and a moulded stucco floor band. The sash windows have flat gauged arches and 6/6 panes, with the ground floor windows being deeper. Above the six-panel raised and fielded door, which is framed by a moulded surround, there is a round-headed central window. The entrance features a wide Tuscan porch with pilasters and columns. The windows of the northern wing have tile keystones.
