Description
The Lynch is an early to mid 19th century building located on Conduit Lane East in Hoddesdon. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with stucco dressings and features a slate hipped roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with three windows. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a rectangular leaded fanlight and a deep Tuscan porch.
On either side of the entrance, there are banded-stucco square window bays with double sash windows. The first floor has six-over-six pane sash windows with a continuous sill course, while the second floor features three-over-six pane sashes. All windows are topped with gauged brick lintels. The side elevations have similar window arrangements. The northwest side includes a ground floor canted window bay, a modern loggia, and modern balustraded terraces that overlook the lake.
