Barn Approximately 30 Metres North Of Duddenhoe End Farmhouse

This barn, located approximately 30 metres north of Duddenhoe End Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It has been extended to the left using 17th-century materials and was remodeled in the early 19th century. The structure features a combination of render and weatherboard over a timber frame set on a brick plinth, topped with a half-hipped roof made of plain tiles and corrugated iron. The barn is five bays long and four bays wide, with two half-hipped midstreys on the northern side. Inside, it has late 18th to early 19th-century straight-faced posts and 17th-century jowled posts, which are arch-braced to tie beams. The roof is a clasped purlin design with queen posts.
