Description

Lochbie is originally two cottages dating to the 17th century, with an 18th-century wing added to the south. The building was renovated at some point. It is one storey and attics in height. The central part of the north front has been raised to two storeys. Modern casement windows are present. The thatched roof of the main block is half-hipped at the east end and features an original central chimney stack with pilastered shafts set diagonally on a square base. A later internal stack is located at the east end. The wing to the south has a tiled mansard roof, including one dormer window on the south side.
