Description

Crofters is a house dating from the mid 18th century, with some alterations from the early 19th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile gambrel roof. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range of 19th century vertical sliding sashes with glazing in the margins. There are three gabled dormers and two 20th century catslide dormers at the rear. The ground floor includes two bay windows and a central entrance door. The house has original red brick chimney stacks at the end walls, a lean-to at the rear, and a single storey range at the east end.
