Description

The gatehouse is a house dating from the late 16th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped at the west end. The building has two storeys, with a lower roof level at the west end. It features a four-window range with 19th and 20th century casement windows, along with two two-storey bay windows. The original red brick chimney stack, which has a concertina design, has been partly rebuilt at the top.
