Description

Clapton Hall is a house dating to the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high and features long wall jetties. It has a four-window front, with 19th and 20th century casement and sash windows containing glazing bars. A gabled porch is topped with a red plain tile roof. Significant timber framing remains visible inside. The house stands on a moated site.
