Description

This is a late 19th-century cast iron pump located 20 metres southwest of Corner House, on the eastern verge of The Street in High Roding. The pump has a missing cap and features a handle that ends in a knop. The maker's name is illegible. As of January 1983, the internal mechanism was still present. The pump is situated at the northeast corner of a crossroads, at the junction of the road to Dunmow and the road to Barnston.
