Description

This is a late 16th-century house located on Chaureth Green in Broxsted. It is a timber-framed building, now plastered, with a thatched half-hipped roof. The lower portion of the exterior is weatherboarded to dado height. The house has two storeys and a long wall jetty to the front. It features a three-window range with 19th-century casement windows. Red brick chimney stacks are present. The original layout comprised three bays plus a chimney bay. Single-storey additions with thatched roofs extend from each end of the main structure.
