Description

Chaureth Green Farmhouse is an early 16th century or earlier house, built with a timber frame and plastered walls, and featuring a red plain tile roof, half-hipped at the south end. The house has two storeys and originally had a three-window front, now with modern leaded casement windows. A modern gabled porch with a red plain tile roof has been added. At the rear, there are two hipped dormers, a lean-to addition, and two gabled wings; the northern wing may be the remains of a former crosswing. An early 17th century red brick chimney stack with diagonal shafts is a notable feature.
