Description

Clock House is a late 16th century or early 17th century house located on Takeley Street. It features a timber frame that is plastered, topped with a half hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and showcases a long wall jetty supported by brackets, with the timber frame exposed at the front. It consists of three bays, including a chimney bay, and has a range of three windows fitted with leaded casements. An original red brick chimney stack is also present.
