Description

This is a barn located 50 metres north east of Hatfield Park, dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed and covered in black weatherboarding, topped with a gabled slate roof. The barn consists of six bays and features an aisle on the east side, along with a lower four-bay structure to the north that has a pantile roof. The east elevation includes two gabled midstreys: a large off-centre one with a jettied gable and a smaller one in front of the lower extension block. The main structure is supported by jowled softwood posts, braced tie beams, and a roof with 'V' struts.
