Description

Lakehouse Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. The building originally comprised a main block with a cross wing at the north end, though the south wing has since been destroyed. The farmhouse is one storey high with attics. Modern casement windows have been inserted. The roof is tiled and includes two gabled dormers on the main block. At the south end, an original chimney stack rises; its shafts are set diagonally on a square base.
