This is an 18th-century barn located 12 meters southeast of Old House on Mountains Farm Road in Great Dunmow. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered with weatherboarding, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The barn features a gabled midstrey. It is included in the listing for its group value.
