Description

Philpot House is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range that includes both 17th century and 20th century leaded casements. There are lean-to extensions at both ends of the house. Inside, some of the timber framing is exposed, and there is a 17th century fireplace with a mantel beam.
